This tour was a disappointment. While they are clear we are not skipping the line, the amount that they are charging for the assistance of a guide is not worth it. The guide attempted to be funny, but instead his joke fell flat and he was repetitive and boring. He had no real facts to share, and his role was frankly useless. We had tickets to climb to the summit, then found out the summit was closed due to weather. Once we were on the second floor, the Sumit opened, but now we had no way to convert our tickets back to Sumit tickets. Save yourself the trouble and just get regular Eiffel Tower tickets. The line moves relatively quickly, you don’t need a guide.

Purchases tickets for summit but it was closed when we arrived. Disappointed twice when we arrived at the second floor and the elevators we’re working. We were denied access because we had the wrong ticket. Our guide, Jackie, was very nice.

Even tho we thought we had purchased ticket had to join a 2 hour queue with guide to get the actual tickets Cost over £130 for ticket that we could have purchased for half that if we had waited and purchased ourself on the day - be aware this is a rip off !

Great tour. Our tour guide Sam made the 25 min wait before the climb fun. The climb takes about 5 min to the first and another 5 min to the 2nd platform. Sam shared a lot of information about the tower, how it was built and about the history of Paris. Walking up is much more fun than taking the elevator. Unfortunately, we couldn’t go all the way up to the top due to technical issues with the elevator.

Bad experience. Stairs were closed so we had to go with the elevator. We had to wait for some time at the beginning because the tour guide didn’t know where to buy the tickets. We had to go with different elevators upstairs and when we got up on the 2nd Floor of the tower we couldn’t find our guide anymore. We were surprised he started the tour when half of the group was still trying to find the guide. We would recommand to go by yourself without a guide. Despite of the bad guide the view is amazing up there.

I appreciate this feedback because I was able to investigate and found that the issue with the guide not knowing where to go was due to issues which were beyond our control-the Eiffel Tower routinely shuts down entrances for various reasons and our guides must find the best way to enter.
